About Us
Our Mission & Vision
The mission of Christ Our Savior United Methodist Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ in the Antelope Valley for the transformation of the world. The vision of our COS UMC is to glorify our Savior, Jesus Christ, to live as His true disciples, and to reach out to our neighbors with his transforming love. We welcome all people to worship with us in order to gain a deeper understanding of the grace of God and what it means to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ our Savior.

What we believe:
Based on the teaching and preaching of Rev. John Wesley, our church believes that the Word of God, Scripture, "is the primary source and criterion for Christian doctrine." In order to understand the meaning of Scripture, we rely on tradition, experience, and reason as encountered in the teachings and lives of Christians throughout the centuries.
Our church believes in traditional family values. In accordance with United Methodist doctrine, "we affirm the sanctity of the marriage covenant that is expressed in love, mutual support, personal commitment, and shared fidelity between a man and a woman."
