CHRISTMAS EVE IN HEAVEN -- A WORD OF COMPREHENSION
When He came into the world, He said:... "I have come... to do Your will."
Hebrews 10:5-7
Jesus not only comprehended the Father's will; He came to perform it. This is the primary purpose of His Advent, to do the Father's will. He commenced this theme here on Christmas Eve and concluded with it thirty-three years later in Gethsemane's garden: “Not My will, but Yours, be done” (Luke 22: 42).
There are two very important one-syllable two-letter words in our scripture for the day: “I have come to do your will.” The Lord didn't come to find the will of the Father but “to do” His will. His journey to Golgotha was not primarily to save us, but to be obedient to His Father's will.
Should we do less this Christmas season? True success in your life comes not in knowing the will of God, but in doing it.
CODE WORD: PEACE

Peace is one of the most beautiful attributes of Advent. And doing the Father's will is what brings true peace to this special night. No wonder we call Him the “Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).

Lord, put Your piece on me now, the piece You give that the world cannot take away.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
