The 12 Days of Christmas - The Feast of the Holy Name Jan 1, 2022

On this day, we remember when Jesus was circumcised on the eighth day and, in keeping with Jewish custom, was given his name (Luke 2:21). Both Mary and Joseph were told to name their baby Jesus (Luke 1:31; Matthew 1:21), which means "God Saves." We commemorate the name of Jesus on this day because of God's power to in Jesus's name.
